摄影艺术课程
以普及摄影艺术知识，提高摄影艺术水平为目的。摄影课程将安排有《器材的选择和运用》介绍各种镜头的拍摄效果和实际操作，及众多设备的选择。《摄影作品的美学原理》具体讲解一张作品的产生过程，解释作品中艺术和技术的关系，解释其中摄影构图，光线的运用，色彩的作用在作品中产生的艺术效果。和《摄影作品的拍摄与制作》介绍在摄影前的技术准备，及拍摄时主题与主体的选择，其中包括风光摄影，人物摄影，静物与小品摄影。后期制作介绍传统胶片与数码技术的制作。
摄影艺术课的授课形式将是互动的，力求深入浅出地讲授摄影中技术与艺术的关系，以及具体的技术操作，和摄影美学的运用。力求创造和谐的学习氛围，有利摄影水平和艺术修养的提高.
The purpose of the class is to introduce the artistic knowledge of photography and improve photography skills. The first topic of the photography class called Equipment Selection and Practice includes the introduction of the performance and operations of various lenses and the selection of equipments and camera accessories. The second topic, Artistic Principle of Photography, studies the production process of a photograph. It examines the relationship between art and technique, photographic composition and lighting techniques, and the artistic effect which color produces in a photograph. The last topic of the course, Photography and Production, introduces preproduction technical set-up and theme selection, which includes landscape, portrait, still life, and close-up photography. Post-production discusses traditional film photography and digital rendering and production.
The format of the course is interactive. Through using simple language, the course attempts to explain many profound subjects of photography. It will explore the relationship between technique and art, specific technical applications, and the aesthetic application of photography. It endeavors to create a friendly and harmonious classroom environment which is beneficial for students to develop technical skills and achieve artistic accomplishments.

SINGING TOGETHER (Art of Singing for Beginners)
The ancient Greek philosopher Plato once said of music: "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."
To satisfy the need of students and parents who love to sing, this class is designed to guide singing-loving beginners to obtain basic singing method and to improve their singing ability via singing together in lively atmosphere:
1. All students will do vocal exercises together to establish good conditions for singing and to aspire toward beauty of tone.
2. All students will learn Chinese and world famous songs together. For each school year, they will learn 8 to 10 songs. Through teacher Tan's analyses and instructions, students will better understand how to approach and interpret a song, as well as acquire some basic singing skills and music theory.
3. In each session teacher Tan will give comments and instructions to one or more students? singing. All students can benefit from such demonstrations, and may begin to grasp that a good singing method could improve their voice as well as musical expressivity.
4. There will be time in class for students to ask questions concerning the art of singing. Through such questions and answers, teacher Tan will explain in simple terms the difficulties of singing.
5. There will be in-class listening of famous singing recordings so that students may improve their music appreciation and musicality.

为了满足爱好歌唱的学生和家长的需求，现开设大家唱学习班，指导初學歌唱者, 使大家在一起学唱歌曲的轻松活泼的气氛中學到歌唱方法，提高歌唱能力：
1， 全体学员一起练声: 建立良好的歌唱状态, 让歌声更美好.
2， 大家唱，全体学员一起学唱著名的中外歌曲，预计一学年学唱8-10首歌。通过谈老师对这些歌曲的分析和演唱要领的指点，让学员们学会如何才能唱好一首歌，同时学到基本的音乐理论 和正确的歌唱方法。
3， 每堂课上谈老师会安排少量时间的Master Class。全体学员通过示范教学可以生动地体会到：正确的歌唱方法会带给您美妙的歌声！
4， 安排时间给学员在课堂上提出有关学习歌唱的种种问题，通过回答这些疑问，谈老师会深入浅出地讲解歌唱艺术的窍门。
5， 在教学中会不定时地穿插歌曲欣赏，以提高音乐欣赏能力和音乐修养。

Tai Chi, also called Taichiquan, has its origins in Chinese martial arts. Today people practice Tai Chi for fitness and soothing power through its slow, graceful movements. This class practices the Cheng Man-Ching variation of the Yang style which emphasizes Qi Cultivation. Master Howard Wang teaches the Tai Chi class.
