MKC provides a Western style education with a curriculum that covers a wide variety of subjects: English Literacy, Phonics, Math, Song & Dance, Manners, Science, P.E. Arts & Crafts, Computer, Story Time, Chinese. All the above classes except Chinese are conducted in English.

美加开设丰富有效的教学课程，课程包括：英语主课、英语语音、数学、歌舞、日常礼貌、常识、体能运动、绘画美工、电脑、故事会、中文主课等。除了每日一堂的中文课外，以上所有课程用英语讲授。

English Literacyis a program based on variety of themes that children are interested in or encounter in their everyday life and environment. Children study one theme per month. They learn basic concepts, vocabulary and sentences. They start to present their thoughts and ideas. They gradually develop basic reading and writing skills.

英语主课 是运用主题教学的模式，小朋友通过每月不同的主题学习，认识他们日常生活中经常接触的事物和普通科学常识。在教学中，我们运用丰富多样的教学方式，学员不但学习概念、词汇、和句型，同时学会如何用英语去表达和如何运用所学的知识。

Phonics is designed to teach the main 42 sounds of English. We apply multi-sensory approach through which children learn the letter sounds, letter formation, blending the sounds and identifying the sounds in words. It is a fun and effective way to teach young children how to read and write. 英语语音课 与中国传统的死记硬背英语单词的方法截然不同，这门语音课帮助小朋友通过语音去读单词、写单词和记单词，学会了英语的42个发音，小朋友就可以学会单词的发音，接着就可以 通过发音去读书和写字。每学期，美加 为小朋友举办英语演讲和英语戏剧表演。

Math is a fun, action-based class. Children learn how to sing the songs, and also learn to express the meaning of the songs through dance movements. Children perform twice a year at school parties.

美加数学课 的特点是通过有趣的教学活动，小朋友亲自动手，亲身体会来掌握数学的抽象原理，他们不但学会数学概念，并且懂得如何去运用这些概念。课程内容包括：数字、数字运用、解决问题、加法、减法、几何、尺度、测量和排列等。课程根据小朋友年龄的接受能力，从易到难，每学期不断加深。

Song & Dance is a hands-on, activity based program which covers the areas of numbers, number counting, number writing, problem solving, addition and subtraction, geometry, measurement, algebra. Children not only learn the math concepts, but how to apply the concepts.

歌舞 是一门充满快乐和富有表演性的课程，小朋友通过唱歌和舞蹈, 表达他们对歌曲的理解，通过表演建立自信心。美加为小朋友每学期举办表演活动。

In Manners class , children learn how to treat people with respect, what is right and what is wrong, and how to communicate with others in a proper manner. 美加不但教小朋友学习知识， 并且教他们日常礼貌和如何礼貌待人。

Children’s physical health is very important to us. Children at MKC do morning exercise every morning before breakfast. There are 2 sessions of P.E. per day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. PE sessions focus on physical skills, ball skills, gross motor development, teamwork and competition. MKC organizes school trips to local theme parks twice a year.

美加不但教小朋友学习知识， 美加把小朋友的体能健康放在很重要的位置。小朋友不但每天早上做早操，而且每天开设体育课，课程包括：体能运动、球类、平行运动、游戏、集体运动和竞赛。美加每学期举办春游、秋游。

Art & Crafts leads children into a wonderful world of colors through fun and exciting art activities. These activities stimulate their imagination, enhance their fine motor coordination and open their hearts to the love of the creative world of arts. MKC displays children’s art works twice a year so that children feel proud of their creations.

绘画美工是通过丰富有趣的美术活动，引导学员进入缤纷的颜色世界，刺激他们的视网神经，丰富他们的想象力，培养他们对美术创作的兴趣。每学期末美加为小朋友举办画展，让他们有机会展示他们的作品, 为自己的创作感到自豪。

Chinese is a very important class at MKC. We make sure the children at MKC are truly bilingual. We use the best kindergarten program in China. Children not only learn the story in each storybook, they also learn how to express themselves by using the vocabulary, and sentences. They learn how to read and write. They finish learning pinyin and its writing by the time they graduate from MKC.

中文：虽然美加是以英语教学为主的幼儿园，但美加非常重视小朋友的中文学习。美加采用国内目前最好的中文教材，小朋友不但学习教材里的故事，了解人与人之间的关系和生活常识，他们学会用中文表达自己的想法，老师引导孩子有主题性地复述故事，学会组词，用正确的语法造句， 同时，他们学会用正确的姿势及笔顺去书写汉字，以及学完全部拼音的发音及书写，为从美加毕业出来的小朋友顺利进入小学奠定了良好的基础。
